ABOUT ME
I grew up on the small and pretty island of Guernsey, so London was a dazzling and beautiful blur in 2011 for a first home, first job and many other firsts (and some lasts!)
After five years in a little second floor flat in SW6, my husband Alastair and I leapt from the city and pushed our daydream into motion: a life in the south of France. The hilltop town of Béziers had our hearts from day one and we are now lucky enough to call this little city home.
Lost in the Languedoc is my blog and online travel guide; a mixture of Langudeoc exploring, musings on daily life, apartment decor and renovation pieces and more…
Whatever brought you here, merci, welcome and enjoy!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long have you lived in the Languedoc?
Just over two years and how quickly that time has flown! We were renting a stifling ‘stand by’ apartment when the vote was announced in June 2016, enjoyed the summer sun with our first visitors in August and madly wired in an oven before our first Christmas in France.
Who takes the photos on your blog?
I do! Unless I’m in then in which case it’s most likely to be my husband, pal or family member.
Can I use them?
Of course – just please link back to me if you’re using them on the web. If not, please get in touch with me first.
What do you do for a living?
I’m a writer! I write for a number of web and print publications including: Culture Trip, Living France, French Property News. To see examples of my work, take a look here.
What is your husband’s job?
Alastair is a web developer. You can get in touch with him via his own website.
I’m vising the Langudeoc, could you help with some tips or planning our stay?
I’d love to! Simply get in touch via my contact form and we’ll go from there.
